Creative Ways to Pop the Question

Creative Ways to Pop the Question

When you are thinking about how you are going to propose to your future husband or wife, there is only one rule to fulfilling the task ahead. That is making sure that your future spouse will love it and say “yes.” Sometimes your partner might not be down for the traditional romantic dinner set up, and that is why you need to step it up and be creative.

  • Film a proposal trailer. Nothing speaks romance like sitting down watching some of your best significant moments together caught on tape. To make it more special, add some romantic notes in between the clips or pictures that speak volumes on the point that you are trying to make. Then you can wrap it up by asking the big question at the end.
  • The boxes inside the box. This can be a fun way to pop the question to your future partner. Send them a gift from an anonymous address. Here you are supposed to wrap your engagement ring box and put it in a slightly larger box and put that in another slightly larger box. Repeat this a couple of boxes until it looks large enough. Your partner will think that she just received a large gift from an anonymous person especially when it’s his or her birthday or another gift-giving celebration.
  • Write a song. This is quite romantic especially when your partner loves music. You can take your partner to a place that the both of you love and play her your song. You can choose to do it in private or in public. The words here are what matter the most. Let the lyrics speak your heart out. The song should be romantic and emotional and calm to really bring out what you are intending.
  • Flash mob. This is by far the most fun way to pop up the big question. A flash mob is where you gather a dance crew, and you choreograph to a certain song that you and your partner love or a song that has lyrics that could be towards your intention of asking the big question. This is a bold move to take since it involves you too in the dancing so, make sure you perfect those moves. You should also appear at the end of the song to make it a surprise to your partner and finally, ask the question. Here you can use props like cards, or the mob can lift up signs that spell out the words for you. How romantic, right?
  • Create an interesting scavenger hunt. This might be very interesting. Plan early enough for this so that everything can be well aligned. Write down one piece of papers or small cards with different messages or reasons as to why you love your partner on one side and a scavenger hunt clue on the other side. You can then set the papers in different places in your house or your town or even the city. Finally, let the final clue lead to a special place for the both of you, and there you can pop the question.
